Hot off the press!

Just got off the phone with my team. I booked a short film called STRONGER. It's a gay role (surprise surprise), but I honestly didn't imagine I would get the job. I am set to play a soap opera actor...in a modern twist on a Strindberg play.

I'm going to go ahead and just tell you it's about ten pages of me talking non-stop and I'm sort of terrified... But it will be interesting to see how it turns out! I shoot later this month.

See? This blog just became TOTALLY RELEVANT. (I wouldn't post something like this on FB or twitter...)

  10. I love how modest you are! By 'booking' a role, you forgot to say you got the LEAD and the other actor is silent. Congrats! Let us know when / where it plays, and we'll be there.

Here's the synopsis for everyone, who like me, was wondering what Stronger is about:

A contemporary adaptation of the classic play, The Stronger, by August Strindberg, set in contemporary L.A. and features two men in the lead roles traditionally played by women. It adds many layers of intricacy to a startlingly simple, yet famously complex story. It consists entirely of a single conversation between two very handsome actors who run into one another by chance in a West Hollywood bar on Christmas Eve. One of them doesn't even speak, yet manages to say volumes as they engage in a psychological wrestling match to see who is stronger. The film lends itself to many layers of interpretation and although it takes only 12 minutes to watch, one can easily spend hours thinking about it afterward.
